Welcome in my blog !
First let me tell you that, as it is the translation of a French blog, I use the metric system for my measurements and all the temperatures are given in Celsius !

New category: I tasted it for you. The idea is to pick up random products that are unknow to me, to taste them, cook them, describe them and give my opinion on them.

Tea and lemon slush

Slush is great in summer, when it is really warm. The good thing about homemade slush is that it has less sugar and your tongue is not blue, green or whatever in the end.


Here there are other flavours: melon and thyme-lemon!!!

Ingredients (about 4 glasses)
Dark tea (better if you have tea leaves). I chose Lipton Russian Earl Grey.
The juice of a lemon 
250 g sugar

Preparation
In a sauce pan, prepare 1 litre of strong tea. Either use a tea infuser, or filter with a Chinese strainer afterwards. Add the lemon juice and the sugar, cook for 10 min.
Pour in a gratin dish, wait until it cools down and put in the freezer for at least 5 hours.
Grate the top with a fork to make slush and pour into glasses.
