I only had a mini oven, so I did tartlets. Obviously, you can do a large tart.

Here is the recipe I tried to cook the kumquats. I prefer it that way, raw, it is too bitter.
Ingredients (for 6 pieces)
1 puff pastry
60 g brown sugar
3 soup spoons heavy cream
Some pinches of cinnamon
Chop the kumquats. Cover the bottom of a frying pan with water and add 15 g brown sugar. When the sugar has dissolved, pour the kumquats. Candy for about 20 min. When the water is almost completely absorbed, add 15 g brown sugar.
Spread the puff pastry in the mould.
Bring together the eggs, the cream, 30 g brown sugar and the kumquats. Stir well, pour in the moulds, sprinkle with cinnamon and bake for 30-3 min at 180°.
The juice in the frying pan is a kind of marmalade, it’s delicious!!
