Welcome in my blog !
First let me tell you that, as it is the translation of a French blog, I use the metric system for my measurements and all the temperatures are given in Celsius !

New category: I tasted it for you. The idea is to pick up random products that are unknow to me, to taste them, cook them, describe them and give my opinion on them.

Enjoy !

Taboulé with bell peppers, merguez and celery

We already saw that the traditional taboulé is amazing. But as for each traditional dish, some variations exist and are great, moreover you don’t get tired of the dish! My cousin imagined her own version of the dish and you can see it here. Delicious, fresh and colourful, it’s perfect.

Ingredients (for 4-6 people)
300 g semolina
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
150 celery with remoulade sauce
4-6 merguez
10 gherkins
3 tomatoes

In a bowl, put the raisins into water to soak them.
In a salad bowl, put the semolina and cover with water to make it soak as much as possible (add water little by little). In the end, add salt.
Fry the merguez.
Meanwhile, cute the bell peppers and tomatoes in dices, the gherkins in slices. Once the semolina is ready, bring together all the ingredients (don’t forget the celery). Add salt only if necessary. Leave to rest for some time (ideally, a few hours) so that the flavours are stronger.

Bon appétit !!!
