Here is another vegetable, totally new to me, that my aunt gave me. It’s a funny one because it has naturally the aspect of small spaghettis when you cook it, and you don’t need a grater to get this result. I thought it would be a nice experiment.
At first I wasn’t sure someone was not making fun of me with the spaghetti story (you never know) but it really works.
Results: I didn’t think it tasted much, but the texture is interesting to work with.
I recommend you serve this recipe as a starter, I think you get quickly bored with larger quantities.
Ingredients (for 6 people)
1 spaghetti squash
Pierce the squash to the middle, cook 10 min in the micro-wave (maximum).
Cut in 2, remove the middle and the seeds, and then grate with a soup spoon. Collect the spaghettis, put in a salad bowl with salt, pepper, some butter and parmesan.
