First let me tell you that, as it is the translation of a French blog, I use the metric system for my measurements and all the temperatures are given in Celsius !

New category: I tasted it for you. The idea is to pick up random products that are unknow to me, to taste them, cook them, describe them and give my opinion on them.

Sichuan beef with vegetables (garden celery, corn ears and bell pepper)

Here is a nice and colourful dish!

Ingredients (for 2 people)
300 g beef meat
1 green bell pepper
3 spring onions
1 red bell pepper
120 g celery
100 g mini corn ears
1 soup spoon sugar
2 soup spoons soya sauce
1 soup spoons rice vinegar
1 soup spoons sesame oil

Cut the beef, the celery and the bell peppers in small dices. Chop the spring onions. Put salt and pepper on the meat.
In a bowl, bring together the sugar, the soya sauce, the rice vinegar and the sesame oil.
In a sauce pan, boil some water with salt, cook the vegetables and the meat for 5-7 min.
Brown the spring onion in a frying pan. Drain the vegetables and put them in a frying pan, add the sauce. Brown for 10-15 min.
Serve with rice.
