First let me tell you that, as it is the translation of a French blog, I use the metric system for my measurements and all the temperatures are given in Celsius !

New category: I tasted it for you. The idea is to pick up random products that are unknow to me, to taste them, cook them, describe them and give my opinion on them.

Ricotta cake with citrus fruits

Nice recipe, and very original. The association of flavours is very interesting.

Ingredients (for 4 people)
1 grapefruit
1 orange (or 2-3 mandarins)
350 g ricotta
2 eggs
100 g sugar
1 soup spoon flour
The juice of a lemon
1 teaspoon of citrus fruits zests

Pre-heat the oven at 180°.
Prepare the zests. Peel the grapefruit and the orange (here is a good video if you don't know how to do, click here).
In a salad bowl, pour the ricotta and the egg yolks. Stir well. Add the sugar, the flour, the lemon juice and the zests. Beat the preparation.
Beat the egg whites until they are stiff and add them to the other preparation.
Pour a third of the preparation in the ramekins, place the fruit slices and cover with the rest of the preparation.
Bake for about 40 min.
