I made these muffins with fresh figs, I really enjoyed how they crunch under the teeth. The honey also gives a nice perfume.

Ingredients (for 12 muffins)
3 large figs (about 300 g)
200 g honey
300 g flour
12 cl milk
1 sachet dried yeast
2 soup spoons vanilla extract
130 g butter
1 pinch of salt
Cut the figs in small dices.
Bring together the eggs and the honey, and then the flour, the dried yeast, the salt, the vanilla extract, the melted butter and the milk. When the mixture is homogeneous, add the fig dices.
Butter some muffin moulds and pour the mixture.
Bake for 25 min in the oven at 175°.
