Welcome in my blog !
First let me tell you that, as it is the translation of a French blog, I use the metric system for my measurements and all the temperatures are given in Celsius !

New category: I tasted it for you. The idea is to pick up random products that are unknow to me, to taste them, cook them, describe them and give my opinion on them.

Beef with a shallot-mustard sauce



I have to confess I am not the greatest beef fan, this meat is too hard for me to chew. Still, from time to time, I try it. Though I really liked this shallot sauce!


The balls you see are arancini!!

Ingredients (for 4 people)
800 g beef meat cut in small bites
5 shallots
25 cl heavy cream
2 teaspoons mustard
Peas (or if you prefer, purée, rice, pasta...)


Preparation
Heat up some oil in a frying pan and fry the beef. Add salt and pepper. When the beef is ready, take it out of the pan.
Chop the shallots. Heat up some more oil, brown the shallots; pour the cream and the mustard. Stir well, put the meat, if necessary, more salt and pepper.
Serve with peas (or anything you want).
