Welcome in my blog !
First let me tell you that, as it is the translation of a French blog, I use the metric system for my measurements and all the temperatures are given in Celsius !

New category: I tasted it for you. The idea is to pick up random products that are unknow to me, to taste them, cook them, describe them and give my opinion on them.

Enjoy !

Tchaï Masala

Today, let’s go to India! For those who don’t know Tchaï, it is basically tea with milk and spices. Delicious! No need to go to Starbucks to get some, just follow me.

½ cinnamon stick
1 small piece of ginger
1 teaspoon cardamom
6 cloves
Some dark peppercorn
750ml water
500ml milk
1 soup spoon sugar
1 soup spoon dark tea (Assam tea)

Crush the spices together, put them in a tea infuser. Peel and cut the ginger in dices. Put them in the water and boil during 10 min. Then add the milk and the sugar. When it boils again, add the tea in another tea infuser. Let infuse a little.
Take the 2 tea infusers and the ginger away and serve very hot.

This tea smells really good, it’s a good change from traditional tea. The ginger gives a little spicy after taste.
You can put the spices directly in the water if you don’t have tea infusers. Then you will have to filter the tea before serving him.

Bon appétit!!
